African Dream Bean Shaker Instrument

These iconic African shakers are crafted in Ghana from "magical" African dream beans (Entada rheedii) strung on strong colorful plastic twine. The shakers make a beautiful rattling sound and can be attached to shoes or clothing to add extra percussion when dancing. The beans, considered magical by many cultures around the world, are used traditionally in South Africa to invoke vivid dreams.
